A Couple Firsts

First attempt at doing stairs...

Yup my toddler has decided to attempt climbing stairs while we were at her Grandma Swartz's house. Derrick and his sister ran upstairs to their old rooms for some reason and Elizabeth decided that she was going to crawl after them. I couldn't believe that she actually interested in attempting them because she hasn't shown an interest in climbing our stairs at home.

Oh joy!

Another first today was we got her her first pair of walking shoes. I know you are probably wondering why we haven't gotten them sooner but we do have a pair of shoes that she has been wearing to daycare. They are more cloth and not too supportive on the sides so we went to a children's shoe store in the mall that I remember going to when I was little. They used to have a big fire engine truck in the store that you could climb on. But due to a sue-happy society they now only have a fire engine truck nose sticking out of the wall and it can't be climbed on. She didn't seem to mind the new shoes and just walked around like she has worn them every day. She's a good baby.
