Twister wants to be a baby
Tonight Derrick brought in the mail and brought it upstairs to the bedroom where I was relaxing. In the mail had come a couple packages. One being a book I ordered from half.com called the 'Baby Whisperer'. It is a book that I heard about on the pregnancy discussion board I belong to and they said it is a good guide for the new mother. The reader reviews I have read on the book have been very positive with some people writing that you should use it loosely as a guide and go with your instincts. I think it will be an interesting read :D She discusses a baby's body language and how to interpret what they want (some of it is obvious but I think some of what she writes will be helpful).
The other package was a set of Wonderoos cloth diapers I purchased new off ebay. When I opened them I was showing Derrick what they looked like and how they folded. During the demonstration, Twister was laying on the bed watching me at the same time. Well he decided he needed a closer look and he slowly reached over and gently pulled the other cloth diaper away from in front of me. He was so interested in the diaper it was hilarious. Nasha had to come over and look as well. But since christmas they think all packages that come to the house are for them. :D
I figured I would try the Wonderoo diapers to see how well they work. If it saves us some money that will be wonderful. They are very soft and are adjustable. They 'grow' with the baby so you can use it from when they are a newborn right until they are potty training. If you would like to find out more about them you can go to their website: www.wonderoos.com. I first heard about them from Jan who is a new mother as of June 2004 (I know her from the Greyhound Village discussion board and she is the one that recommended the pregnancy board to me) and she has been using them on her boy Evan when he is home at night and on the weekends. She has been a good friend to talk to and I am constantly bugging her with pregnancy questions. :D
