Garage Sales

Today I had to take my mom to a doctor's appointment in the morning. Derrick went with Elizabeth to his mom's house and they went to a couple garage sales. I guess Derrick was interested in buying a stuffed Tigger doll and asked how much it was. The woman thought Elizabeth was so cute that she just gave it to her for free. I thought that was nice. Derrick also purchased several Winnie the Pooh figurines for her bedroom. He later joked that what originally was going to be neutral room with a hint of Winnie the Pooh has really turned out to be an extensive Winnie the Pooh themed room.

I dropped my mom off at my grandmother's house after the appointment and Derrick, Elizabeth and I went there for dinner after I was done with work. Derrick had gone to work himself to catch up on things while his mom watched the baby. So we got to visit a little bit with Elizabeth's Great Grandma. We decided that we would surprise her and come over on Sunday to help clean her windows and Derrick figured he would work on some tilework in her basement since they tore it up to do some floor work for water problems.
