Road Trip

This morning we left our house at 8:30am and took the 5 hour trip to our family's cabin in Canada. We've been looking forward to going for awhile now. Elizabeth was a very good baby the whole trip up.

We got there around 1:30pm and unpacked the car while Derrick's Dad took his sister Alyson and brother-in-law for a trip around the lake on the boat.

Alyson offered to stay with Elizabeth when they got back and so Derrick, myself and our brother-in-law, Don went out to fish. We had walkie talkies that worked very well on the lake and so we communicated back and forth with Alyson while we were fishing. Fishing was good!

It was a very warm night - almost unbearable. But luckily they had a small fan up there and so we had it oscillate between our bed and the baby's bed.
