Observing

Today when Derrick and I went to pick up Elizabeth at daycare she didn't hear or see us come in. So we watched her a little bit as the teacher told us she had been crawling and standing today. It was funny to watch her because she inched her way over to the clear plastic gate that is between the Wobblers and Infants and she was watching the older kids play on the other side. The teacher on the Wobbler side came over to the gate and was playing peek-a-boo with her to which she was laughing hysterically.

She turned around when she got bored and then saw us watching her. She then made happy noises/squeals and inched her way a little over to us. She isn't crawling on her knees fully but has one leg crossed in front of her (like she was sitting indian style) and the other leg is in the normal crawling position.

We got home and she didn't move around too much. Maybe she was tired out from doing it at daycare. Derrick decided it would be a good idea to put her crib mattress down a level in case she is pulling herself up.
