Happy Turkey Day!

We wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We are blessed and thankful for what we have - a happy family, a healthy baby, and a rough over our heads.

Today we went to Derrick's aunt and uncle's house to celebrate Thanksgiving. Elizabeth tried her first meat baby food. It was Turkey and Turkey Broth (a stage 1 bottle). She didn't care for it so we just gave her Fruit Dessert - which she ate the whole 4.5 oz jar. She also tried the syrup from the strawberry/cherry pie. She loved that too.

The drive too and from wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. On the way there we hit a couple white outs in some of the smaller towns we drove through. On the way home we hit a white out going down the hill from where they live but once we got to the bottom of the hill it was fine. Elizabeth slept the whole way there and then slept on the drive home.
