Battle of Bottle vs. B**b

Last night I was up with Elizabeth three times - the first two times I fed her from my supply. The third time she got up I had just about had it. Obviously she wasn't getting enough from me so I went down and heated up a bottle of whole milk. I figured I was up already anyways so what the hell - I would try giving her a bottle and start the weaning process. She refused it insisting on feeding from me (which of course I wasn't letting her). We went back and forth from 2:30-3:30am with the bottle battle. She was so exhausted she would fall asleep for a couple minutes then would wake up and try searching again. During all this I kept telling her that I wasn't doing this to be mean and that I still loved her but she had to start drinking milk like a big girl because Mommy wasn't able to give her what she needed to be big and strong anymore. Finally around 3:15am she started sucking from the bottle and eventually fell asleep.

I have to admit I was a little devious and enjoyed waking her up in the morning just because she had gotten me up so many times in the night. I know that's probably bad of me but I was just exhausted and frustrated. I again gave her a bottle this morning instead of feeding her from myself and she put up a little battle but then accepted the bottle after a couple minutes of giving me a piece of her mind.
