Happy Fourth of July!

Today we went over to Elizabeth's Aunt Alyson's and Uncle Don's house for a Fourth of July celebration. Elizabeth had a nice time and had fun moving around the plastic chairs. She also grabbed the football that the guys were tossing around the yard before we got there. She didn't want to give it up either when the guys wanted to play again.




Yes, she is walking in her socks - she took her shoes off and just started heading down the sidewalk - we figured it wouldn't hurt...

We didn't get to see any formal fireworks presentations. Our city's fireworks were on the previous Sunday and we didn't find out until today. We were too tired to drive 30 minutes to the next town's firework show. But we did watch the fireworks that some farmers were shooting off across the field from us after we put Elizabeth to bed.
