Work Day and Busy Day

Today was work day at the cabin. So we bought a little rake for Elizabeth to play with while we worked outside and maybe in the future she can help the adults rake.

Come on Mom! Let's go!


Now what do I do with this thing?


After the work was done we came in and Elizabeth started exploring the cabin. She found the coasters first...

Then she discovered the books - she especially loved the orange one:


After lunch Mommy helped Great Grandma by planting some Marigolds in her small garden. We also sat outside a little and played with bubbles:




When we got restless we decided to try and sit in the big girl adirondack chair (which she successfully pulled herself up into):


Daddy came back from working on stuff that Grandpa made him do and so we decided to try and head down to the beach for this years sand and water test.

She enjoyed walking on the sand:

She loved standing in the water and throwing stones:



After this picture was taken she plopped her butt in the water (by accident) and then enjoyed standing up and doing it again.

We decided to give her a bath after her dunk in the lake - her first sink bath:


She is the fifth baby to have a bath in the cabin's sink (the other four being her Daddy, her Aunt Alyson and her Daddy's cousin's).

The night ended with her playing on the rocking chair in her pajamas while we watched the Sabres on a Canadian channel:
