Car Seat Study

Tonight we pulled Elizabeth's other car seat out to figure it out. We have had it in the basement for awhile still in the box. We didn't bother installing it before now because the carrier could be strapped into any car without the base. It was a nice luxury to have the carrier and we will miss it since she is getting too big to be in it. Now we will have to take her out of the seat and carry her around in our arms when we go anywhere. We could always take the carrier with us I guess if we need a transportable seat to put her in once she is out of the car.

We hope to get an appointment tomorrow with the woman trooper who is in charge of seat checks. Derrick called her today and she said she would call him tomorrow when she got back from someplace she had to be in the morning.

Derrick told me that Elizabeth was getting around a little bit today on her belly. He noticed that she had moved a good distance from where he laid her while he was playing with her. He thinks she did it just by wiggling and moving her hips. He didn't see her get up on her knees yet. She also rotated herself a little bit on the mat (about 90 degrees).
