Fire Drill

Today Elizabeth's daycare had a fire drill. They noted it on the daily report sheets we get at the end of the day when we pick her up. I asked what they do for the babies when this happens and the teacher told me that they wake the babies up (that are sleeping at the time) and put them in two mobile cribs and push them out the fire door.

I guess Elizabeth was taking a nap at the time the alarm went off and she was scared of the alarm and cried. Understandable since she was sleeping at the time, jarred awake when she was picked up by the teacher and then to hear a scary sound she never heard before. But it's good to see they do drills and interesting to see how they move the babies out in a fire situation.
