Tough Cookie

The one morning we dropped off Elizabeth at daycare we sat her at the table next to this little boy Jeremy who is about the same age as Elizabeth. Elizabeth was given this large rattle/crinkly type toy. It almost looked like a tamberine with streamers. Jeremy reached over and for a couple minutes they were playing tug-a-war with the toy. Ms. Jewel while getting Elizabeth's cereal ready commented about how she is impressed at what a tough cookie Elizabeth is because Jeremy is a 'stronger' build but she said 'you watch and Elizabeth will get the toy even though she has a wiry build.' Sure enough a minute or two later Elizabeth had the toy in her hands.

It was funny to watch the interaction and Ms. Jewel said this has happened with her before. That's my strong little tomboy.
