Daddy's Back To Work

Today was the first full work day for Daddy to be back at work. It was just the girls and Twister home alone. I wore the baby for the first time today. Derrick had purchased a Baby Bjorn baby carrier that you strap onto your body at a garage sale for $5. It was weird having her strapped to me but it was handy. I was able to get the dishes done while wearing her in front of me. She let me carry her for a half hour but then started getting fussy because she was hungry. It was cute to see her looking around at everything.

Derrick brought home one of the little signs from work that the department had posted on all the rooms that Derrick teaches in. It just simply said 'Elizabeth Iris Swartz 2/13/05 8lbs 5oz'. He also brought home some gifts that his coworkers bought for Elizabeth. His one good friend/coworker and his wife (who we've gone out with) bought her a froggie towel and face cloth set. Another 2 coworkers and their wives bought her a blanket and a handmade sweater. It was really sweet of them to do that!
