Wacky Wednesday
This morning Twister started heaving while on our bed. There's a lovely wake up call. I got him down to the floor and managed to get most of it in the trash can that I quickly put under his mouth. Of course he tried to help clean up but not before I looked at what he barfed up.
Plastic pieces. I don't know what it is with this boy and plastic. We think he got a hold of one of the baby's Fisher price little people (one with a cowboy hat) since we can't find it. We hope it doesn't get him plugged up if he swallowed most of it whole because it is a wide fisher price person (non-choking size for a baby).
Previous victims of his plastic fetish - a swiffer duster handle (not the duster part - he took that off the handle first) and a plastic milk crate that had their toys in it.
Then I get a call later in the day while at work from Derrick saying that he cut open his finger on some glassware in the lab when he was setting up for his next class and that he was going to go to the hospital to see if he needed stitches. He spent three hours in an emergency room satellite office and they just cleaned it out and bandaged it. Because it was in a wierd spot - right above the knuckle - if they were to stitch it he would have to keep the finger straight for 2 to 3 weeks. So he opted for no stitches and they sent him off with some medicine.
What a crazy day!
