Happy Halloween!
This year Elizabeth was Elmo for Halloween. Her Grandma Swartz made her costume for us and it looked great on her.

We weren't sure if Elizabeth was even going to go out for trick-or-treating because she had been so sick the last couple days but her fever was gone and we were only going to a couple houses. As it was we went to 10 houses. It didn't seem like we went to that many until we got home and counted it out in our head. It was a very nice night out so it didn't seem that long of a trip.
I told Elizabeth to say 'trick or treat' to which she said 'treat' at the door. She didn't hesitate to reach in and grab a handful of candy and when I told her to take one the neighbors encouraged her to take more. Probably because there weren't that many kids on the street. She would then say 'thank you' and 'bah-bye' to the people as we left the porch. She was such a ham at each house.
She slept the night too which was wonderful - we were so worried that we would have to get up with her since she slept so much yesterday. She went to grandma's house today so Derrick could go to work.
