Happy Easter!
We want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and we hope that it was an enjoyable one for you all!
Elizabeth gave us a nice Easter present and slept from 11:00pm to 7:00am this morning! It was nice to get a good night's sleep. I think I heard her stir around 3:00am but she fell back asleep.
Today was a busy day for Elizabeth as she went to three different places to visit with family. This was also the first time she was in a two piece outfit since we pretty much keep her in one piece sleepers while at home.
The first stop in her travels was at her Great Grandma Elizabeth and Great Grandpa Swartz's house. Great Grandpa isn't doing too well health-wise and we thought he would like to see her. Derrick's Aunt and Uncle were also at the house so they got to see her for the first time as well.

The next stop was her Great Grandma Iris's house. While we were there Derrick and I got an electric knife as an Easter gift from my grandmother. :D It is a nice gift as we don't own one and it's a handy thing to have on hand for bigger carving projects. We visited with her and my uncle for a little while and then had to go because we were having dinner at Derrick's mom's house.
The third stop was Derrick's mom's house. We had a lovely dinner with his mom, her boyfriend, my mom, Derrick's dad and stepmother, and Derrick's sister. Elizabeth was good for most of the visit. I had to feed her at one point and that kept her calm for a little while. We learned a new method of calming her while there! Derrick's mom had a stroller put together in the living room figuring she could lay in it if she was tired. We put her in there and Derrick's sister pushed her around the house and she actually quieted down to the point of sleeping while in it. I jokingly told Derrick that if he's watching her that he should try that with our stroller if she gets cranky. He just might do that...
