Home Improvement Day and First Bath

Today was a busy day at the Swartz household.

Derrick decided to go to home depot and order our storm windows and screen inserts for the two windows in the addition. While there he also bought a midar (sp?) box so he could cut the baseboards and finish that up in the addition (since we haven't seen our buttwipe contractor to finish the job up - he keeps coming back with excuses of why he isn't able to come).

So while Daddy worked on that Mommy took care of Elizabeth. I carried her around in the Bjorn (ouch on my shoulders after awhile) and did some things around the house. I put together her stroller that my dad had bought for her, did the dishes, vacuumed the kitchen and bathroom (easier than sweeping ;)), did Elizabeth's laundry, and watched some TV. :D

We also gave Elizabeth her first bath! Yes we have been cleaning her - don't worry! But this was her first time in the baby bath tub. She enjoyed it and just laid there relaxing while we washed her. She was so relaxed that after we took her out and wrapped her in a towel she decided to pee. LOL! Thank goodness daddy was holding her when she did it. Hehe

I also weighed her today and she seems to have gained another pound - there was an eleven pound difference after weighing myself alone and then with her.

After her bath she was tuckered out and fell asleep on Daddy:
