Six Weeks Old
Our chunky monkey is 6 weeks old today!
The days are flying by and she is getting bigger with each week it seems. We put her in her swing the other night and we could definitely see her height has changed. Even when I put her in the Bjorn - not only is she getting heavier but I noticed the level of her head in the carrier is higher. Her neck muscles seem to be getting a little stronger and she can hold her head up a little. She has been cooing and gurgling a little more. It is so neat to hear the new sounds coming out of her.
Her attention span or observation skills are also getting stronger. She is focusing on a lot of things around her. She even watched the Charlie Brown Easter special last night on TV. Don't worry we aren't going to make her into a couch potato but it was neat to see her focusing on the cartoon.
