Man It's Hot!

Today we went to my cousin's house to celebrate the birthday of two of her daughters (a 4 year old and a 7 year old). She didn't have air conditioning and the temperature was in the high 80s/low 90s and HUMID! Elizabeth fell asleep on the ride to their house and snoozed for a half hour after we got there. She ate a little but she was sluggish from the heat and didn't eat too much.

My cousin's husband had plugged in their camper's AC so if anyone was affected too much by the heat could go in there. Derrick, Elizabeth and I went and ate dinner in the camper just because she started getting fussy and the cool air felt so good. She ate and fell asleep for a little bit and then we went back in the house to watch the girls open their presents. By that time some of the humidity broke so it was more tolerable. She was a good baby watching the paper being ripped and laughed and talked.

We got home and everyone took a bath/shower. Derrick ran over some extra size 1 diapers we had to our neighbor since their twins are still small and the husband sent back over 6 pieces of BBQ chicken since they had too much. What a trade!
