Back Home

We came home today from the cabin. It was beautiful weather up in Canada and on the trip home. Elizabeth was an angel in the car again. Happy the whole time except when I was slow in getting more milk into her bottle - then she let me know her opinion. :) We got up around 8:30am/9:00am took our time eating breakfast and packing up the car. We left around 11:30am and got back into the area around 5:00pm.

We stopped at Derrick's mom's house to pick up the dogs. She had put them out in the backyard so they could go to the bathroom before the trip home. I snuck into the yard through the gate and after they noticed I was there they came running and jumped all over me. They were so happy to see me. It was a great feeling. Derrick came out of the house with his mom and they went and attacked him too.

We got home, unpacked the car, and Derrick took my mom home. Bella was happy to see us too but was more interested in getting her food first thing. :) We just bummed around the rest of the evening to unwind after the long trip. But it was good to be home.
