Sunny Tuesday

Today was another gorgeous day here in New York. I took Elizabeth out around 1:00pm for a walk down the block. I didn't take the dogs just because I wasn't sure how I would be able to handle two greyhounds and walk the stroller.

Daddy came home from work around 5:00pm and we went out for another walk - this time with the dogs. We got halfway down the street and a woman had just came home. She asked if she could see the greyhounds and she gave them some lovin'. On the way back home, we were stopped by another woman Lisa who lives three doors down from us. Her 12 year old daughter is the one that gave us her business card for babysitting. She came down to introduce herself and to see Elizabeth and brought her 4 month old son Nathan with her. She asked how old Elizabeth was and was shocked to hear she was 9 weeks old. She then asked how much she weighed and was again shocked at the answer. LOL! If you put her son and Elizabeth together they look about the same size (height and weight) - the only difference being that he could hold his head up.

We didn't know there was another baby on the street so it was a pleasant surprise. So Elizabeth has another friend she can play with when she is older and maybe even go to school with.

That's the nice part about walking - we are meeting more and more of our neighbors on our walks because they come out and say hi or wave.

Elizabeth slept well last night which surprised me after all the sleep she had during the day. She went to bed around 11:30pm and woke up around 7:45am. Not sure if it was the half dose of Tylenol or the stress of the day that made her sleep so well. I'm not complaining! :D
