Frazzled Friday

After work today I met Derrick at his mom's house. He had found a shelving unit for the garage and needed my truck to get it home. We visited for awhile and set up a new computer for his mom. Elizabeth's Aunt Alyson stopped over after work to see her.

We left around 5:30pm and raced home because we needed to straighten the house a little since Derrick's dad was bringing a friend over to look at our roof. On the way we ran into heavy rain. Derrick had to pull over since it was raining so hard. It let up and he was able to get home ok. Meanwhile I got home and went outside with the dogs in the rain - which they were not happy about. We actually had tornado warnings for our area - something that is rare. We got the house looking presentable and I fed the baby. We didn't have time to feed the baby cereal.

Derrick and his dad's friend went on the roof to look over the situation and Elizabeth's Grandpa came in to visit with her. She was being a little flirt as usual. They got off the roof just in time because shortly afterwards we had a huge downpour. They didn't leave until 9:00pm or so and we ended up not having dinner.

We were just mentally frustrated at that point.
