Carrot Lips

Today we got up and packed up the car. We called the 1000 Island Bridge Authority to see if there was any wait at the bridge to which they said there wasn't. So as soon as we were packed we jetted hoping to beat any long traffic lines at the bridge. Thankfully we didn't run into any.

We made good time and got back to the area around 3:00pm. We dropped Derrick's Grandma off at her house and then went to his mom's and picked up the dogs. His mom wasn't there so we left a note and went home. It was so nice to get home early because it allowed us to get the laundry done and also prepare for Elizabeth's first day at daycare. By 10:00pm we were running on empty and we fed Elizabeth and went to bed.

We also fed Elizabeth something new tonight:

CARROTS!

She didn't really seem to care for them too much. She was hungry so she kept opening her mouth but after we would put it in her mouth she would make a face.

We will try to feed them to her again tomorrow night and see what her reaction is. It's something new (being her first jar food) so I'm sure it won't be the last time we will see her make a face.
