More Fishing
I'm watching you:
The girls sitting on the couch in the cabin:
Today we did more fishing (of course!)... We caught a couple more (mine were mostly too small so they got tossed back).
Here's Derrick with his catch:
We took Derrick's Grandfather's boat out for a little bit while Elizabeth took a nap. I lost two really nice fish. One was a 3 foot pike that I got all the way to the boat and it snapped my line with it's teeth - Derrick wasn't fast enough with the net to scoop it up. The other one was a really nice size large mouth bass that jumped out of the water and spit my lure out while in the air.
We did 'happy hour' out on the boat today. We take out drinks and snacks and just sit/drift in this area of the lake they call Cocktail Bay. Elizabeth had her bottle while we ate and talked. When she was done she had fun playing on the bench seat of the boat:
