Twenty-Eight Weeks

Elizabeth is 28 weeks old today!


Things that are new:

- She is very active
- She holds her hands up when she wants you to pick her up (usually from the exersaucer)
- She has begun to roll over from her back to her front
- She likes to hold the spoon and put the spoon in her mouth
- She likes to throw stuff on the floor (toys for now)
- She is as tall as Mommy's inseam when she stands up

Today we took Elizabeth to church with us for the first time (since her baptism). We sat in the crying room because we didn't know what to expect from her. Just before we left she started her squealing. She started a new sound and like Jan's Evan it sounds like Darryl Hannah's mermaid character in Splash. A very high pitched scream eminating from this little girl.

After church we went to Elizabeth's Great Grandma Popovici's house and visited with her for a couple hours. She held her and as soon as she started crying she passed her to me. She didn't know what to do when she started crying. This happened three times and I told her to just hold her. I resolved the problem by giving her a bottle to feed Elizabeth so she could get used to her. Elizabeth doesn't have a problem normally with people and I think she was just tired and hungry so started fussing. She fell asleep shortly before we left and slept on the way home.

Here she is still sleeping in her carrier after getting home.

She had a cute little smile on her face and looked so relaxed. She sometimes sleeps with her eyes open a little.



We got a lot done around the house. We cleaned up the garage even more - organizing it and moving the Buick over by pushing it out of the garage and then back in. Now we can at least get one car in the garage for winter time use. Derrick went on the roof to clean the gutters out and to nail down some areas where bees were getting in.
