One Month Old!

Wow! One month ago today Elizabeth was born! There are no words to describe how unbelievable it is how the days are flying by so quickly. Seems like last week we had her...



Today Derrick's family (mom, stepmom, father, sister, and brother-in-law) and my mom came over to our house to celebrate my birthday. Derrick's mom made me a carrot cake birthday cake and his stepmother brought over a tossed salad. We also ordered out for pizza and wings. Elizabeth was a good girl for most of the time but then got hungry. Derrick's mom fed her with a bottle and was impressed how well she took it (being only the second time she was given a bottle).

They also put her in a bouncy chair to see if she would be appeased when she started crying later. She did like it for awhile but then got frustrated.

I got some nice gifts. One of them was a late shower gift. Derrick's stepmother told me that I would be getting it late because she didn't get it painted in time for the shower and so she brought it today. It's gorgeous!
