Baby's Day Out

Today Derrick had to go to work to check up on the progress of a company that were removing some items from one of the stockrooms and so Grandma Swartz got to watch Elizabeth again. She was cranky again for Grandma. She said that it will just take some getting used to the way Elizabeth wants to do things.

She didn't want to eat, she didn't want to play, she was just miserable. Derrick got there once he was done with work and heated the bottle up a little more as well as the nipple and sure enough she ate for him.

Derrick brought her over to my work and we did the rounds in the library showing her off (of course!). She was a good girl and she really talked a lot with my coworker Nancy. She took a nice long nap when she got home - probably pooped out from visiting all those people.

When I got home we put her on the bed just to do her exercises while Derrick got ready to leave to help my cousin with some car work and she actually lifted her butt in the air several times while she was on her belly! She was doing a very good job of trying to move. Of course when I took the pictures of her during it she would put her butt down just as the camera went off. If she does it again I will have to take a video of it with the digital camera and post that.
